Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some charming elements like a nice traditional room in the main building, but unfortunately, the room itself seemed to have an old smoke odor that the perfume couldn't quite mask. Additionally, the thin blanket made it harder to stay warm at night, and the internet connection was really problematic.
The hotel offers excellent rooms with a very comfortable bed and a great shower, although a bit small and nondescript. The service is exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The location provides wonderful views of the water but is slightly remote from central Portree. Dining is very good, especially the fresh fish options. The facilities are fantastic, making for a pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a lingering smell of old smoke despite efforts to mask it, and they were a bit on the smaller side with thin walls. On the bright side, the service was exceptional, with polite and knowledgeable staff, though a mishandled complaint left a sour note. The location, overlooking the river and garden, was beautiful, but lacked privacy and stunning views. The dining was delightful but would benefit from more variety on the menu.
My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, perfect for relaxation, although there was a lingering smell of old smoke that the perfume sprayer tried to mask. The service was exceptional, with attentive and professional staff, except for a slight hiccup in handling a complaint. The location was convenient, situated in the center of Skye with beautiful sea views. The hotel facilities were top-notch, providing a range of amenities for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was fabulous! The room was newly decorated and had a comfortable bed, blackout curtains, and a nice balcony facing the golf course. The location was excellent, just a 10-minute drive to Portree town, and the staff was super friendly and recommended some amazing restaurants. However, the bathroom was a bit tiny, and the building, though modernly decorated, had some issues.
The hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable, and we had a wonderful stay. The service was superb, friendly, and polite, with a few minor issues with food handling. The location was excellent for enjoying the stunning views and relaxing setting. The dining experience was incredible, providing one of the best meals of our trip. The facilities were top-notch and added to our overall enjoyment.
